HMA and Housing Requirements Toolkit
delivering the evidence to support your decision making
Whether you are working in strategy, planning or policy formulation, it is crucial to be able to support your thinking with accurate, credible market intelligence.
But crucially, it’s the transformation of data into meaningful information that gives you confidence in your thinking and adds weight to your negotiations.
The Toolkit allows you to manipulate complex data interactively and easily, enabling you to assess with precision the requirement for housing in your area.
And because it’s on your desktop rather than in a folder on the shelf, you can quickly sense check your decisions as conditions change.
This Toolkit enables you to explore competing scenarios in depth and revisit your model as conditions change, so you can be absolutely confident in your decision-making.
You can also:
- assess housing requirements by tenure, age and bedsize
- monitor and model housing projections, supply, affordability and under-occupation
- project differing levels of requirement for up to 20 years
- examine the specialised requirements of older households
- tailor data inputs to national, regional, sub-Regional, local authority and bespoke level
The Toolkit’s structured framework makes it simple to use without the need for any special training. Results are clearly presented and it is easy to track the intermediate steps.
And when you come to present your findings to colleagues, stakeholders and providers, the Toolkit’s clear visual presentation of results and ability to dynamically ‘show its workings’ add credibility and weight to your argument.
